In a desperate attempt to attract impressionable young men to take up fencing I give you some pictures of model Marisa Miller learning to sword fight for the new Captain Morgan ad campaign at Swordplay Fencing Studio in Burbank, California. Honestly guys it’s like this at our club too.
Well her en garde is quite good but, kids, always wear proper FIE approved protective gear when fencing! I presume that’s meant to be some sort of Caribbean cutlass she’s wielding, it’s certainly no fencing épée.
And this is her with her coach – sword master Tim Weske. Lucky man.
But she might want to work on her centre of gravity, no double entendre intended, and her footwork as well. The minute he attacks her she is going to trip over her own feet.
In the interests of gender balance I’m now off to scour the internet for pictures of a cute guy fencing
